Another Waldorf Iridium Core Beta OS Update Just Dropped!
New Waldorf Iridium Beta OS Just Came Out!
Alright, so, full disclosure, this beta OS update is not strictly for the Iridium Core. It appears that it is also for the other Iridium models and the Quantums, so if you’re a member of the Beta Program, you can get this new update, which still includes the 16-voices expansion!
So far in this update, besides continuing the 16 voice stuff, it also updates the Favorites menu system, and includes
SHIMMER REVERB!
We installed it last night and tested it out on some current patches from the Arete Trance Soundset for funsies, and it made some cool patches sound interstellar on moderate and high settings (it made some of our Plucks sound like fragments of Hans Zimmer’s score for Interstellar), and is definitely going to enter our sound design work on a few upcoming soundbanks.
If you wanna take it for a spin yourself (always remember to back up your data and remember to be careful loading beta operating systems into your units), hop on over to the official Waldorf Beta Program and sign up to get it for yourself!
101 uplifting Trance presets, compatible with the Waldorf Iridium, Iridium Core, and Quantum hardware synthesizer series. This soundbank is 100% Trance-oriented and comes packed with euphoric leads, majestic pads, thundering basses, epic plucks, and screaming 303 acid patches, with no filler sounds.
