About Kulshan Studios

A seasoned dance music industry veteran, Dawnchaser has been releasing Trance and Chillout music since 2007, and Psytrance and Psybient under the alias Amiranu since 2012.

In 2015, he began his sound design journey with designing classic Trance patches on Adam Szabo’s JP6K JP8000-style VST plugin.

And beginning in 2016 with his acquisition of a Roland JP8080, a Virus TI2, and a Blofeld, he launched Kulshan Studios, releasing the first full Trance and Psytrance soundbanks for the Blofeld.

Starting in 2020, Kulshan Studios’ mission has been to make every synth usable for every kind of musician, from studio producers to gigging stage musicians, no matter what genre of music they make.

Since then, he has released scores of soundbanks, including the first 3rd party soundbank for the Roland JD-08, and the first Trance soundsets for the Moog Sub37 and Sub Phatty, and the Sequential Prophet Rev2.

He continues to add to Kulshan Studios’ ever-expanding repertoire with soundbanks for more and more synths, and for more genres beyond the club music-sphere.

He has designed factory sounds for Traktion VST plugins and is a featured sound designer with DiscoDSP for his Nord Lead 2X/Discovery Pro soundbanks. His sounds have been used by artists all over the globe, and receive rave reviews from bedroom musicians and industry professionals alike.
